Weekend at the Races: 2023 Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix
This book was a lifetime in the making.
In the early 2000s a young Fernando Alonso was putting down his name in the top ten of the Formula 1 Grid back then, mostly as a prodigious rookie few believed in outside of Spain. And I remember seeing the pitlane visits paid by some lucky customers for the Spanish Grand Prix wondering if some day that would end up being me.
About 18-19 years later, that did happen. And I was lucky enough to be amongst the crowd visiting the pitlane for what turned out to be a very special Formula 1 Grand Prix. One in which Fernando Alonso not only danced with the posibility of making a lunge for the lead, but also, ended up on the podium.
And it is all here. Captued on film, of course.
My Week with New York
It took so long from the moment I sent the book to Mr. Forbes’ address until it was featured in one of his videos, that I’d stopped thinking it was going to show up. I figured that perhaps Mr. Forbes deemed it not good enough to be featured as part of his show. But it was! So here youv’e got both a Preview to the left, as well as an on-point review from an experienced photographer who delves into matters outside the usual new gear cycle.
